Cut Day a Success

Independence Hall Quilters

Many members stayed after the meeting to help Mary Sue and Donna make kits for comfort quilts and pillowcases. Nine large tables in the ‘dinning’ room were stuffed and overflowing with flannels, kids prints, flowers, bright polka-dots, bugs, hearts and a few more dignified styles for teens and adults.

Because yours truly was picking out bright and happy fabric for scrappy kid’s quilts, I remembered to take photos after most of our participants departed. The Hall looks deserted now, but we had a good turn out.

Quarterly Business Meeting Sept. 20th. The Zoom Room will be open for the meeting at 10:00 am. Sue Duggan’s Trunk Show & the un-luncheon after the meeting. Bring your own lunch, chair to sit in and money in case there is a raffle!
