Why become a Member?
There are so many reasons!
The education of IHQ members is a major element of our charter and mission. Trunk shows and workshops will provide new ideas and techniques. Member-taught classes will continue to be diverse and exciting. Particular emphasis will be given to the many requests for basic quilting classes.
Community Service is also a major part of our guild. We make lap quilts designated comfort quilts, which are donated to emergency responders, protective services, and victims of the devastating Butte fire. Every year the guild makes a gorgeous quilt to be raffled off at our October Quilt Faire. We call it a Scholarship Quilt because all the ticket sales go directly into scholarships awarded to graduating seniors who apply.
Contact our guild via the “Contact Us” page for more detailed information. We welcome you to attend our weekly meeting Mondays at 10:00am (except for July & August) to check us out with no obligation to join.
If you decide you want to join us, please download and fill out the membership application and bring it to our next Monday meeting, or mail it to the address listed on the form, including your check for $50.00 made to “IHQ.”
