Flea Market!

August 3 & 4 is the Ebbetts Pass Community Center (a.k.a. Independence Hall) Flea Market. Sat. 8-4 & Sun. 9-3.

Many treasures are waiting to be found. Items range from Fine China to kitchen appliances, clothing, and a HUGE selection of books. Everything is reasonably priced, and the staff is happy to help you get it to your car.

There will be a variety of vendors for your shopping pleasure.

The weather is supposed to be reasonable as well. No triple digits are expected.

Don’t Miss Out!

Presto Chango

The Quilters had their last meeting in the Hall today. Until August 21st, that is. The Hall will be consumed with Flea Market Preparations beginning tomorrow and every Tues & Thurs until Flea Market weekend arrives (August 5th and 6th).

This is our community center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds help get repairs and upgrades done to the building, not to mention keeping us in heat and WiFi. Many hands make for light work, and lighter work means more fun doing it. Not only do the Hall’s Board Members set up and sell, but a lot of the volunteers are quilters who enjoy the use of the Hall for their meetings, classes, and sewing projects.

As much fun as the workers have, the shoppers have even more. Discovering special treasures at bargain prices, chatting with neighbors and friends you see shopping. Enjoying the vendor cuisine available (that you have been smelling way before lunchtime) is definitely a perk.

I urge you to not take my word for it – come and see for yourself.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, we need volunteers. August 5th and 6th, we need shoppers, treasure hunters, and the curious.

See ya there!

Calling ALL Y’all!

If you are an IHQ member, you already got an email about the IH Flea Market needing help – to get set up and work at the Flea Market Sat & Sun. OK, sure we always ask for extra help – BUT we don’t need “extra” help, WE NEED HELP – PERIOD! Many of our regular helpers have been set back by health issues, they had the gall to move away, or whatever – they are not working this year.

There are 2 years worth of wonderful treasures to sort and price and sell. This is the Ebbett’s Pass Community Center (a.k.a. The Hall) primary fundraiser that did not raise funds last year due to you-know-what. PLEASE help us have a successful Flea Market this year, and volunteer to help out, or spend the weekend buying treasures and tickets to win a gorgeous quilt.

We need your help, come on Monday, August 2 through Thursday, August 5 from 8:30-2PM. Next week is the last week we have to get ready. We also need a lot of help during the event:

Saturday, Aug 7, 2021, 8AM-4PM
Sunday August 8, 2021, 9AM-3PM
