Every year, in our Quilt Faire Program, there is a ballot to vote for your favorite entries. The most favorite entries receive a “Viewer’s Choice” award ribbon.
We know that these are tough choices, and we notice the concentration and serious consideration that our guests show when voting. We are all grateful that you make the effort for us. Those in the guild who didn’t get ribbons this year will have another chance next year.
Y’all are our ‘Academy,’ and we thank you for rewarding us with what we feel in our hearts is equivalent to an Oscar.

This is NOT a Survey
This is only the blog post about a survey coming to you soon. The medical insurers always do that, so here I am making fun of them.
It will be easy. No essay questions. All Multiple-choice or Yes/No. No trees will be harmed because you will do it using this website. Your answers will be sorted anonymously, so feel free to tell us how you really feel! We ask for your name on the form to verify you’re a member, and then the answers you provide are sent to a different bin for processing.
As soon as your webmistress can write the code for the survey, it will be posted.
Try to be patient.
Guild Meetings Return
The Independence Hall Quilt Guild will hold a 10:00 a.m. meeting on Monday, August 19, its first since mid-June. It will be noisy in the Hall. Catching up with friends, turning in items made over the summer after showing them off during “Sew N’ Tell.”
Plan to attend the Comfort Quilt Workshop(s). Sign up for the September 23rd class on Cathedral Windows, taught by member Carol Wychopen.
Are you working on an entry for the Quilt Faire? Turn in your application and photo to Dana Osterlund. The deadline has been moved to September 16th.
Tip: the “Free Table” could be stuffed full of goodies after members clean out their stashes over the summer…
See you Monday!
