Twas the Night Before Quilt Faire, and all through the place
not an item was stirring.
Not even a vase.
The quilts were hung, onto frames with care,
in the hope that admirers soon would be there.
Quilters were nestled all snug in their beds.
No visions of sugar-plums, they slept like the dead.
A tiring week, working hard to get ready,
checking, re-checking each tiny detail,
is making us looney, some wanting to bail.
Then the Faire opens and quilters agree,
that the toil was worth it, in many degrees.
See for yourself tomorrow or later,
and vote on your favorites, to do us a favor.
We love sewing and quilting but what’s even better,
is sharing them with you at our Quilt Faire each year 😉
