A Perfect Day For Soup

Temperatures in the 20s and 30s, snow flurries, then sunny skies, then more snow clouds would creep up and just as quickly go away. I’m no weatherman, but I think the wind chill factor was 11 degrees.

A good day to stay indoors, sew, and eat hot soup for lunch.

Crock Pots and warmers lined the dining area walls, warming their contents during our general meeting and announcements. By 11:00 am the entire meeting hall was a cacophony of delicious aromas, melding into one overwhelming craving for soup!

It was difficult to wait until noon.
