Between last Monday’s meeting and our potluck luncheon, we were wowed by 1st Vice President, Jocelyn’s show. Most of us knew her Quilting skills were excellent and we thought we had seen her best work. We were wrong!
Our photographer ruined the photos she took of Jocelyn during the show (cutting her head off was in really bad form), so on the left is a snap of an excited Jocelyn with her Viewer’s Choice Award ribbon. A bit blurry and fuzzy, although we can see her head (and smiling face).
The Guild has an opening for the photographer position, BTW
Jocelyn treated us to her diverse array of quilts and wall hangings, several techniques are used in her collection. Some techniques she learned at classes sponsored by the guild.
Much to our delight, Jocelyn shared with us her passion for stones & crystals while we oohed and ahhed over her custom designed jewelry.
If that wasn’t enough to keep her busy – the gal also paints! The set of landscapes with tree houses she displayed were breathtaking.
Thank you Jocelyn for an entertaining and beautiful show. We are looking forward to seeing more of your talented creations!
Jocelyn, you have become so much better over the years. I remember the Dragon! Congratulations!
