The Calaveras County Fairgrounds are a relatively new venue to us, but we are working diligently to ensure our show maintains the same high quality. It features a range of traditional bed quilts, art quilts (also known as wall hangings), wearable art, dolls, and needlework. We have a new category in the 2026 show: “Blast from the Past.” It is an opportunity to show one of your quilts that was in our show 5 years ago or earlier, but has not been shown since.
If you would like to submit an entry to our show, click HERE
The last day to enter your application is August 24, 2026
Our 2026 Quilt Faire is on Friday, October 16; Saturday, October 17; and Sunday, October 18. $10 entrance fee (Good for all three days).
We will also have many vendors on-site with quality quilting merchandise and goodies for non-quilting visitors.
Our annual Raffle to win the year’s “Scholarship Quilt” takes place on Sunday, at the close of Faire, 3:30 pm.

This may be a silly question, but will there be quilts for sale? I just got back from PA and went to Lancaster to look at Amish Quilts. I decided to wait to purchase because my heart belongs to Dorrington/Arnold area. I’d rather purchase a quilt made here.
Thank you in advance.
Kristi,
Your question is not silly! There will be a variety of beautiful and diverse quilts for sale in our Boutique. The main showroom (Music Room) quilts, wall hangings, etc. are for display only. If you fall in love with one displayed there, any sale between you and the owner is fine with IHQ, but it has to take place after the show is over and all the quilts have been returned to their owners.
okay went to a different computer and I got it to download. Is it too late to apply?
